PRINT FILE DISPOSITION


This field contains the value of the Disposition option, which was entered in the Report/Log Default Values fields in system administration, for reports. PRINT FILE DISPOSITION indicates whether the report file will be scratched, saved in the user's print library, or requeued after printing. The system-wide defaults for these values are entered in the System Parameters file. These values can be overridden for each new application, database, and user, and overridden again every time the input process DISPOSITION is invoked.

Default Value: Taken from system administration files.

Valid Values:

SCRATCH (scratch after printing)

SAVE (place in user's print library after printing)

REQUEUE (place back in print queue after printing)
